Zach Korach

Zach Korach is currently the Finance Director for the City of Carlsbad. Zach received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Saint Mary’s College of California. He began his career as an auditor, specializing in audits and accounting services for municipalities, special districts, and non-profits. In 2017, he became Finance Manager for the City of Cupertino, before eventually joining the City of Carlsbad in 2022. Throughout his career, Zach has been responsible for preparation and review of financial statements and reports, assessment and establishment of internal controls, as well as budgetary development.
